A velvety dark, exceptionally smooth and creamy stout with soft treacle flavours and a full body. Not as strong as some traditional stouts, but lacking none of their taste.

Tap at the wild swan Fetter Lane. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting creamy khaki head. Aroma is dry earthy roast, rustic roasted barley. Charred earth, meaty roast. Flavour is composed of dry charred wood, earth, little thin, dry roasted barley, grain husks,. Palate is uber dry and a bit thin, chalky finish, fine carbonation. Lingering earthy dry roast.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Black body with a thin beige head that fades. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of chocolate, earth and roasted malt. Flavour of milk chocolate, minerals and lightly roasted malt. Thin to medium texture with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. It doesn’t look as good as other nitro beers - the head fades quickly - but the flavour is solid and pretty tasty.

Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolaty, toasted, mild nutty tones with some slight herbal tones. Flavour is nutty, chocolaty, toasted, mild wet wooden tartish tones with a nice dry toasted finish.

Canned at PBF. Black, creamy head. Chocolatey nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and chocolate, some licorice. Long bitter finish.
