6 years old bottle, November 2020. Hazy dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Well oxidised malty aroma with toffee, dried fruit, dessert wine and a touch of vanilla. Sweet malty flavour with obvious oxidation, but hardly dusty at all. The extreme alcohol level is kept well in check, in a rather elegant beer.

From a massive Mikkeller backlog. Most of these ratings are very old. Beware :) Pours clear dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma has lots of sherry, raisins, malt, caramel, oranges, banana, vinous notes, hazelnuts. Taste has malty bready notes, sweet oranges, vanilla, fudge, oak, dark fruits, bitter hazelnuts, caramel, grapey notes, strawberries. Super weird and quite special!
