Clear deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, good minerally carbonation. Mellow malts, dry with a whisper of dark malt character. Hops bring pine and mild orange. A little hop spice. Comes together well, pretty drinkable. More APA than bitter mind.

Cask @ Black Door. Poured mahogany color with a thin white head. Biscuity, nutty, dark fruity aroma. Ripe fruits, some mild glueish notes, wood and figs. Overall good drinkability. Nice bitter finish.

Off white, frothy head stayed on a murky copper coloured still body. Malt & floral aroma. Thin to medium body, very prickly on the tongue. Bitter tangy tastes of citrus with malt, caramel and quite herby. a long hoppy & tangy back.

Bottle at home, 1st January 17. Pours a red copper ale. Aroma is sweet citrus, floral perfume, aromatic. Taste is citrus, lovely malt balance, sweet floral undertones. Great red IPA

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy long lasting white head. The aroma is rich orange citrus malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to bitter with a smooth mineral yeast light spice hop citrus bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

500ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours deep amber. Taste is rich malts, toffee, pine and citrus. Was expecting more festive spice but I shall not complain.

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - hazy amber with a thin head. Nose - cake and dried orange. Taste - more of the same but orange very dominant. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - the orange note overpowers a bit too much. Bit decent.
