An easy drinking and refreshing IPA. Fresh dry hop, herbal character is provided by the mix of Challenger and First Gold hops. The use of crystal malt in the grist gives a satisfying toffee/caramel note and the addition of a little black malt adds just enough astringency to give a clean, dry finish.

Malts: Pale, crystal and black malt.
Hops: Challenger, Pilgrim and First Gold.

Cask at The Bell, Shottery, Stratford-Upon-Avon. Clear amber brown with small off-white top. Fairly standard light clean bitter with biscuit and floral notes but a bit watery. Very drinkable, not unpleasant but very boring.

Realised I'd never rated this, so let's do it. Looks good in the glass. This is a proper, old school bitter - hops and malt with a bit of caramel. Very drinkable, but will never set the world on fire.

Bitter with not much hop character it's ok but a bit appley Acetaldehyde not sure if this is due to the pub or just a trait of the beer.

Deep Ellum, 7/15/23. Clear brassy-bronze. Small, off-white head at cover. Nose is mildly malty with cookie and biscuit. Dollop of caramel with very fruity yeast and otherwise quite clean. No diacetyl noted from nose. Soft, malty, reasonable texture/depth and attenuation with pleasant fruits from the yeast and just a hint of diacetyl which is quite charming, actually. On the maltier side, but it's well-attenuated and quite drinkable.

From tap at Two Brewers in London after doing the Karl Marx Walking Tour and in between The Harp, which was full of marathoners, and Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Clear golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Decent aroma and taste of pale malt, some sweeter malt, succade and dried fruits.
