For Burton Baton, we brew two "threads," or batches, of beer: an English-style old ale and an imperial IPA.
After fermenting the beers separately in our stainless tanks, they're transferred and blended together in one of our large oak tanks. Burton Baton sits on the wood for about a month.
When enjoying the Burton Baton, you'll find an awesome blend of the citrus notes from Northwestern hops melding with woody, vanilla notes from the oak. The wood also tends to mellow the 10% ABV of Burton, so tread cautiously!

A dense off-white head on an amber/orange body. Nose features citrus hops, brown sugar, apricots and fruit zest. A well blended and crafted double. Citrus and tropical fruit, melon, toffee, wood, dark berries and a hint of cherries work well together. Used to have a solid whiff of vanilla, but not in this batch.

Draught from Ginger man. Poured a clear dark orange with mild head that lingered slightly. Some fruit and hops strong and good.

Bottle. Ok, it’s official, I LOVE HOPS. I love mallty beer too but man , this is good stuff. Aroma is a floral citrus smell. Taste is a slighlt sweet, slightly bitter, strong citrus taste. Really, really good. A very, very tasty beer.

thanks to dsnowden for this one!!
Pours a great dark orange/aber color, big thick white head. Aroma is hoppy, but not what you would expect from a DIPA, the aroma is also quite sweet. Flavour is again, sweet, and smooth, and the alcohol definitely warms the throat. I can really taste the oak, and the subtle vanilla notes. The finish is quite sweet, and i’m not getting the bitter punch i expected, a nice beer. NOt your typical hop bomb, but very nice, the oak ageing was a nice touch.
will post picture, after i kick this kid's ass.
Amber orange pour. Thick foam. Sweet rye and wheat beer. Orange and touch of zest with wheat.

7/3/2020. Bottle at my Birthday bottle share, bought at Merci Market, NYC. Pours clear bright amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of pine, fruit, hops, wood and toffee. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Good stuff.
