This was the first beer in our Ancient Ales series.

This sweet yet dry beer is made with ingredients found in 2,700-year-old drinking vessels from the tomb of King Midas. Somewhere between beer, wine and mead, Midas will please the chardonnay and beer drinker alike.

12 oz. bottle. Clear pale gold, white head. Aroma of honey, grains, bread. Taste is grains, honey, white grape, faint herbs, no saffron. Finish is sweet and grainy. Not sure about this one. Okay.

No troche jak utleniona dipa ze sladem winogron i bez szafranu. Miod dominuje. Ale nie jak w braggocie tylko jak z utlenienia... alko schowa

Vom Fass Stone Brewing Berlin 2016-11 getrunken. Wird wohl mit weiße Muskattrauben, Honig und Safran gebraut. Klingt spannend und schmeckt auch echt gut. Allerdings wirkt es recht schnell etwas langweilig. Aber das ist heulen auf hohen Niveau.

Noe tåkete gylden brun farge med minimalt hvitt skum. Lite lukt. Maltig, korn og noe urter. Lett. Noe blomsterbitter smak. middels lang.

355ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with a medium, fizzy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, honey, grapes, floral and spice. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, honey, grapes, spice and bitter grass with a dry, alcohol finish. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Not bad, has a mead-like quality to it.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of malt, honey and flowers. Taste has sweet malt, honey, caramel and floral esters. Too much honey for me.
