In de Ardense wouden groeit in het wild de bosbes. De regio van Vielsalm is beroemd voor zijn rijke oogst en veel streekproducten met de Wilde Bosbessen. De Bosbessen (Vaccinium Myrtillus) worden in hun geheel (geen sap) aan lambiek toegevoegd in een verhouding van 40 kg per 100 liter jonge lambiek.

750 ml. bottle split with Kraddel. Cheers! Plus glass straight from the source, thanks to the brewer at Tour de Geuze 2017! Murky red fruit purple appearance, only a few pink bubbles, near flat. Nose is vineous, raw, rain water, thick sour blueberry jam, blueberry jelly,…. Taste is super intense, weird, blueberry jelly, massive blueberry jam, hugely heavy on fruit skins almost gravy notes, more fruits skin, leaves from the fruit, wild berries, fermenting vinous very thick blueberry jam & jelly, thick vinous finish, more fruit than you can shake a stick at, leaves,… Little carbonation, very thick vineous blueberry syrup body,… Unique, bit challenging but really delicious, really curious as to how this one will develop over time, might become really something.

Bottle split between 77ships and myself. Thnx for sharing, bro ! Pours dark purple, no head. Smell is full, dry, fruity (Although i would say blueberry blindly, as I don’t know enough about fruits for that ) Taste is full, sour, dry, oak, fleshy fruits. very full, round taste, with some back-up maltyness ( mostly in the MF, not so much in the taste ) Very nice ! I think I had a sample of this from the oak barrel itself as well ( if it’s the same beer) which i totally did not like! even if the same, this rating is only for the bottles version,as I am not sure the barrel sample was an actual finished beer.
