End of November, Odense quickie. Hazy red with a lasting pink head. Aroma of blueberry, barnyard funk, medicine and wood. Dry and tart funky flavour with a really authentic fresh blueberry character. The aftertaste has some slightly unpleasant notes, like vegetables.

Sample from bottle at SBWF 2017. Hazy dark purple with a small pink head. Aroma of light blueberries, citrus and funk. The same in the taste, also some light notes of vanilla. Tart and with a fairly light body. Not bad but something was missing in this one.

Bottled at SBWF. Cloudy purple, small pink head. Aroma of blueberry jam with a twist of lemon. Mid tart with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Mostly blueberry jam. Mere hints of horseblanket and lemon. Low bitterness. Disappointing, but blueberries has never really worked in beer.

750 ml bottle, vintage 2017, from Etre Gourmet.
Ruby body, with a medium, lacing, pinkish head.
Aroma of sour dark berries, barnyard, wood, apples, unripe pears, subtle overripe fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with more vinegar.
Quite light mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes acidic, moderate funky, with vinegar, pears, apples, lingering blueberry skin.
Very nice. Lots of blueberries in the nose, while the taste is straighter, quite acidic. Lovely blueberries again at the very end. Propably my favourite De Cam so far, really characterful stuff.

(750ml 2017 bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam) Pours a slightly hazy deep purplish coloured with a fine medium pink head that lasts. Aroma of crushed bilberries, black currants, intense and semi-jammy, raisins, oak, spices, lactic yoghurty tang, stables. Flavour is dry, lightly lactic tart, fruity, lightly jammy. Bilberries and black currants, berry skins, touch vinous, lemon yoghurt, twigs, oak, tannic dryness in the finish where oak, hay and crushed fruit skins leave a very dry aftertaste. Light bodied with soft sparkling carbonation. Feels like it would improve a bit with age, the fruit character is really nice but not expressed so deeply on the tongue. Not as sour as most fruited De Cam, really drinkable.
