West Coast DIPA from a 65 cl bomber. Thick, frothy but regularly shaped, beaten egg-like, lacing, dense head over a lightly hazy peach blonde beer with orange hue and fierce sparkling rising up through the glass, stabilizing the head. Pleasant dank, ’wet hop’ fragrance of lemon rind, fresh grapefruit peel, dried mango, red curry spices, hint of spruce, candied ginger, white bread, chamomile, accents of Thai basil, fresh tomato juice, green bell pepper, strawberry, roses. Clean fruitiness in the onset, hints of green banana, starfruit and orange, restrainedly sweetish with slight sourish and umami-like touches here and there, everything well in balance; softly carbonated. Slick, lightly oily mouthfeel, bit resinous. Only very lightly biscuity malt sweetness in the middle, otherwise rather ’cereally’, clearly this DIPA is more tilted towards the hops than the malts, and indeed the finish is governed by a firm, resinous, spicy, fruity hop bitterness with lovely retronasal grapefruit, flower, soft pine and exotic pepper aromas; a very long tonic water-like bitterness lingers and coats the back of the mouth and the throat for hours, but somehow it never becomes overly harsh, making this beer end very elegantly. Elegance seems to be key here: delicate fruity and floral hop effects, pleasant long bitterness as is to be expected from the style, but everything cast in a noble, gracious form retaining a remarkably high drinkability. Excellent DIPA.

On Tap at Taphouse, Boise Hazy light pale yellow witha thick dense white head. Light malt body and fresh strong citrusy hop flavors. Pithy and pungent and lacing a harsh late IBU bite. Nice strong hop flavors. But fresh and somehow light. Very good

Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll @ Brewpub Van Moll. Hazy orange golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, tropical fruits, mango. Taste malts, hops, fruit hops, mango, passionfruit, peach. Finish is a nice mix between fruit hops and hop bitter. Way more refreshing compared to most IIPAs back use it is "only" 8% ABV and hint got any resin or pine. Even though I love resin and pine, this is nice for a change. Suitable medium body and carbonation. Nice one!

Pale golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma with hints of citrus and some pine and herbs as well - Malt body to support the hops that is fruity and herbal - The hops goes into the finish with some citurs and herbal notes and it goes dryish in the back - This was good

355ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes.. Hazy yellow-gold body under a finger-thick white head. Nice lacework on the glassware. Inviting fruity cocktail on the nose, peach and citrus. Succulent hopped fruity flavours, including moments of pineapple, lemon and peach. Mid-dry fruity bitterness to the finish. Smooth in the mouth. Fine bodied. Excellent drinkability (Friday eve at home in Tromsø, 15.07.2016).
