Can from Deeside Drinks Emporium. Clear golden/amber body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of pine, orange, tomato juice and grapefruit. Flavour of nettles, honey, resinous hops and a peppery finish. Medium body with a very oily texture. Soft fizz. Delicious hop juice.

Small yellowish-tinted, irregular head over veiled orangeish yellow beer. Aromatic, fruity, but also rather cheesy hops’ nose, and not very lasting. Bitter-metallic, citruszeste. Again a bit green-mold cheese flavour, trickling into the aftertaste. Very slick, but not much more than medium bodied. Light alcoholhint. Hardly more than average, not my taste.

Poured into a tall shaker showing cloudy yellow and a finger of white clean foam. The nose shows a lot of round, ripe and forward tropical fruit - mango, passion fruit, guava. The palate is moderately carbonated and medium bodied. Flavors of moderately intense tropical fruit throughout with a flat and robust IIPA bitterness at the finish.

This is a very well made, quite subtle DIPA, with aromas of pine, grapefruit, nougat, peach, plum and honey. The alcohol is quite prominent in the mouth, but the hops are strong yet refined, and there’s a nice aftertaste of plum, pine and honey that make this a very enjoyable beer.

Tap at Watering Hole. Hazy golden color with a nice soapy white head. Great aromas of green pineapple, tangerine, papaya and bright citrus flavors along with some resin on the nose as well. Taste is fairly similar with the tangerine and some strong caramel notes coming on the finish. Fairly bitter. Decent.

Bottled dated 05/11/2015.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Light stringy lacing remained around the glass in a slightly messy sort of way.
The smell had a bitter citrus rind weaving in between sweet pine and leading into a full bittersweet feel in and around my nose.
The taste was fully bittersweet grabbing my taste buds for the full effect of the punch of bitterness in the taste. There’s a light bitter to semi-sweet citrus aftertaste. The finish was quick and left a light dryness.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable feel about it. Carbonation maintains a good level for a DIPA allowing the bitterness to give the appropriate pleasing kick for DIPA fans.
Overall, I really liked this one. Its everything a DIPA should be as it always keeps its bittersweetness all the way through the beer. Definitely again.
