12 ounce bottle shared at the MDBG tasting 4/4/16. Clear golden, thin fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of corn, vanilla, hay and caramel. The taste is caramel, vanilla, corn, hay. Thin.

Typical cheap pale ale with flavors. Must say tho, kudos for the attempt at riding the wave. From a twist off bottle, was glad to find this stuff. Somewhat strange volatile ale aroma, processed olfactory. Yes, like so many other bourbon beers, lots of bullshit wood with whisky flavor thang going on. Don’t we have a bourbon pale ale as a style? Why not, go figger. Must have went by the wayside like the white pale ale. Yes, decent co2 with a cheap lager kinda feel to it laced on top with some happy BS sugary sweet thang. Perhaps some wooden honey? Dude, heh heheheh. Perhaps some artificial cinnamon or spices on the finish, not expected.

Bottle. Dark yellow with almost no head, white ring, fake smelling bourbon aroma, high carbonation, sweetish taste with oak flavor and cheap whisky notes, medium sweet finish. Pretty horrible.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of green apple and crown royal. Taste is light sweet. Caramel with a hint of vanilla. Some odd bourbon notes. Meh, not awful but not great either. Nothing I would seek out again.

12oz bottle. Canadian beer brewed in America, fake me out bourbon barrel style. Quite a disturbing cheap liquor/liqueur aroma, like you spilled some goldschlager in a just cleaned gas station toilet. The taste is approaching rancid, with some odd clove and cinnamon notes. Comes off a little hot for the 6% that it is. The flavors are quite artificial, an insult to the consumer. Bullshit product, but a funny sign of the times.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was a bit sour and tangy with cedar, white pepper, ginger powder and Windex. The flavor was dry Windex, perfume, cedar, ginger powder and white pepper. Long finish. Medium body. Pretty awful.

Bottle. Apple/orange malt aroma. Golden yellow with moderate white head. Floral perfume and light malt flavor. No bourbon notes at all - not good.

Bottle @ home, big thanks to BoostIPA for this whale dong. Surprisingly, perfectly clear golden appearance with a lasting off white head. Cream corn, corn candy, bubble gum, coconut, wood, and some grass in the aroma. Medium body. The flavor is pretty well balanced. Low to moderate herbal hops. Vanilla, orange creamsicle flavor. Kind of floral. Not hint of booze. Candy-like flavor. Incredibly unique. Not fucken bad.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, West Seneca, NY. Amber with a billowing white head; oddly woody aroma; some vanilla and bourbon notes to an otherwise characterless malty body; dry finish with lingering artificial vanilla flavouring. Not good.
