A refreshingly unfiltered summer wheat. Some light malt sweetness and a faint bready character, balanced by a touch of hop character and finishing with a thirst quenching hint of ginger.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance had a slim less than one finger white foamy head that dissipated over top of a semi-hazy bronzed yellow color-ed body. Lacing was mostly messy.
The smell started off with a weird blend of ginger to wheat with a harsh lemon trying to balance it all together. Does it? Eh, somewhat...maybe.
The taste was mainly spicy through the ginger with an ample amount of sweetness from light lemon to wheat tones. There’s no aftertaste but it does leave a slight dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with an okay sessionability about it. Carbonation runs a bit higher than expected as I thought the wheat would have taken the lead and it didn’t.
Overall, as a wheat ale, its sitting right on par, but the carbonation seems to be a tad higher than expected. Its not bad, its just not one to seek out.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 3/25/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, ginger, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/earthy yeast, ginger spice, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, ginger, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, ginger, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, ginger spice, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish; but some ginger heat does build up at the end of the glass, but is not very strong. Overall this is a nice spiced pale wheat ale. All around good balance and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, ginger spice, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pours light gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes leaving scant trailing sheets. Sourdough and caramel aromas. Medium bodied with sweet bready caramel upfront turning to mild sweet ginger in the medium length finish.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 6/12/15

Aroma: The aroma has some ginger, a little lemon zest, wheat, and bread
Appearance: It pours a hazy yellow color with a fizzy white head and drippy, fizzy lacing
Flavor: Taste-wise, the ginger is the lead component, with wheat there as well, light sweet, and mildly bitter
Palate: It has a fairly light body, not watery though, lively carbonation, which works here
Overall Impression: Here for a good time, not a long time according to the bottle cap. I could see that. It drinks pretty quick. I liked the mouthfeel here, generally I'm not a huge fan of high carbonation, but this is one of those situations in which it makes sense.

Bottle in Salisbury. Pours totally clear gold with a weak white foam head. The nose has a bit of wheat bread, ginger, white grape, touches of cereal. Medium sweet flavor with creamy ginger, cereal, doughy wheat bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Subtle ginger burn in the finish, more pale bread, slight wheat, lemon. Tasty stuff, pretty drinkable.

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow with small white frothy head, doughy aroma with a hint of citrus, high carbonation, citric acid taste, abrupt finish with lemon peel aftertaste. The taste felt quite artificial, not like natural citrus.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was dusty, cardboard and a touch of wheat. The flavor was tangy, dusty, cardboard and a hint of golden fruits. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Bottle from Hannaford Exeter NH. Aroma is faint, maybe a little metallic? Appearance is hazy golden yellow with fair sparkle and no head/lacing. Taste is lightly sweet ginger. Palate is light to medium bodied, crisp, with lively carbonation particularly on the tongue. Finish is abrupt and dry. Overall, there really isn’t too much to this beer. I don’t think it’s really made to be appreciated, probably just to be drunk in large quantities at low temperatures. For that kind of beer, at least the ginger gives mild interest.
