Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 07/04/17. Clear golden orange with a well presented off white head. Nose is fresh bread, melon, tangerine, straw, lemon drizzle. Taste comprises light skunk, grassy bite, leafy hops, citric pith, grains, a touch raw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a green hop to leafy climax. Passable IPA ... a little harsh in places.

Tap at the pub in Warsaw. Lovely west coast nose, dank, citrus, grapefruit, crisp malts. Golden orange with a light haze. Huge fruit, tropical mostly, bit sweet, slightly heavy, dries out a bit in the finish. Good west coast ipa. Dig it.

Thin off white head soon left a cover on a hazy dark amber body. Fruity aroma of hops, citrus & catpiss. Medium bodied, soft on the palate with a soft finish. Bitter citrus, pith & hops tastes

On tap at Pub Kino, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out fresh piney and resinous hops, and a dry biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is bright and vibrant, with piney and resinous hops upfront, backed by just enough biscuity malt. Vibrant and fresh, and well-balanced. Very nice standard IPA.

Tap @ Mikkeller Warsaw. Poured quite foamy, took some time to fill the glass properly. Nice orange yellow pour, rich white foam on top. Fruity-hoppy nose, some herbal-grassy hop character balancing light fruitiness, pears, persimmons and melon. Body feels quite dry and even a bit watery, still everything is quite well in balance and overall this one drinks well and is definitely satisfying. Simple and well done table IPA.

Polish craft IPA at 70 IBU, bottle shared with Goedele. Light gusher, producing extreme, very obviously hops-enhanced, towering high, rocky, egg-white yet large bubbled foam lacing in thick ‘relief’ patches ; cloudy yellow beer with vaguely khaki hue. Aroma of ripe mango, pineapple, passionfruit juice, red onion jam, tangerine, soap, white bread dough, basil, vermouth, pink grapefruit, chalk. Brightly fruit sweet onset, luscious pineapple, mango and guava with a dash of passionfruit, expectedly sharp carbonation adding sourness and mineral effects ; fluffy, bit soapy, full mouthfeel. Pleasantly doughy malt sweet core, bit honeyish even, but shifting to outspoken, long-lasting, grapefruity and rooty hop bitterness in the end, which at the same time produces a lush, colourful tropical wave of retronasal fruitiness. Bold like the whole of the Polish craft beer movement, rich and generous with both the decadent tropical fruitiness of a NEIPA and the powerful bitterness of a classic West Coast IPA – in other words, in terms of aroma and taste an excellent example of the style in all respects –the gushing, which remained fairly manageable, is easily forgiven.

Golden with a white head - Good hop aroma with citrus - Malt body to support a good hop profile that has citrus and a good bitterness - The hop flavours goes into the finish with bitterness - This was good

Køge Øldag. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of citrus peel, with hints of pineapple and pear. Sweetish fruity flavour with lots of citrus. Black beer clearly isn’t Artezan’s only strength...
