Our local bitter, extremely popular in Devizes and district and available throughout the Wadworth trading area - light, refreshing and sessionable.
An aroma of gentle malt with slight hoppiness combines with a good balance of flavours on palate, maltiness gradually dominating. There is a long-lasting after taste to match which eventually becomes biscuity.
Ingredients: 92% pale malt, 6% crystal malt and 2% cane sugar. The bitterness units of 20-22 are obtained from Fuggles hops (80% of total) in the copper and Goldings hops (20%) on the hop back plates. Colour rating is 22.

Pint of cask at the Outside Chance in Manton. I deep copper colour in the glass and a minimal head with some lacing. The beer was perfectly kept and truly showcased the light flavours that you would expect in this classic English IPA. There was a forward bitterness and excellent drinkability. It went very well with the burger and chips and ticked all the right boxes. You could drink a lot of this and thoroughly enjoy yourself.

Cask half pint at the Queens Vaults, Cardiff. Deep golden to copper colour, small white head. Moderate malty aroma, a hint of toffee and nuts. Smoth mouthfeel and flavour, moderately malty but not sweet, a moderate fruitiness makes it very drinkable. The bitterness is low, hardly an IPA by any stretch of the mind.
