21/9/2024. Bottle courtesy of Bruno, cheers! Pours clear very dark brown with a small lasting frothy beige head. Aroma is roasted, malty, oaty, chocolate, toffee, ash, dried fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average to soft carbonation. Light drying roasted finish. Enjoyed this.

On tap at Free State, pours a dark amber-tinged brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out oats and very light cocoa. Flavour is very light, with hearty oats and soft cocoa. Not heavy at all, with a dry, gently chocolatey, hearty palate. Good stuff.

12 ounce bottle. Nearly opaque black brown color. Large pillowy tan head. Subtle roasted malt aroma. Ditto on the flavor. Soft notes of dark roasted malt with hints of coffee and chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel from the oats. Lightly tangy in the finish. Tasty.

Drank right from the bottle; big thanks, moody. Has a big dark presentation. Could be a sweet stout but it tries to get into the more bitter stout or even looking at impy stout with its 6% and all shit. Yes, big and almost bold, but never quite gitz-thar. Goes down pretty easy, somewhat bitter burnt damp wet fire wood that was put out a couple of days ago, just not quire charcoal. Even has some attributes of baltic porter. Gets better as the session continues thru the middle but becomes a tad medicinal in the end.

Bottle, thanks to Unclemike. Pours dark brown with foamy beige head, faint oatmeal/mocha aroma, medium carbonation, lightly tangy mildly bitter mocha taste, smooth body, long medium bitter mocha finish. Nice one, a bit tangy.
