A hazed dark orange amber ipa with a thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with resinous floral hops, light mineral notes, light oxydation, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit, light treacle, pleasant and smooth. Bottle is probably 4 years old.

From my wife: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is earthy, malty, floral. Taste is kind of sweet. Bitter and earthy. I guess a tad woody. Abv is well covered. Solid.

Aromas are caramel malt toffee and a bit of toast. flavors are like Nose much more sweet than bitter carbonation helps. Body is a touch thin and a bit chalky in the Finish but a pretty good beer overall really.

22 oz bottle poured, shared by luttonm. Thanks! Pours a hazy copper orange color with a rocky head. Toasty malt aroma with a clear sweet side to it. Bready malt, orange fruit bite, middle to high bitterness, some dryness as well. Oak for sure. Hop bitter, warming finish. Very nice imperial here.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and tea. Medium mouth, bready malt, citrus, tea, light bitter finish, hides alcohol well, good.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/4/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange, pineapple, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, pine, light oak, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, pineapple, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, pine, light oak, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy spicy/piney bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, pineapple, apricot, pear, apple, pepper, pine, light oak, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a crisp malt/yeast/hop balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp/sticky, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an excellent English IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering

Bottle shared during HamTech Reunion 2014. Thanks to the Duke, I think. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. Pretty sweet overall, with some sugary berries, bread, mild bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet and lightly warming to finish, with more bready malts and ripening fruits. OK.

22 ounce bottle poured into a tulip. Thanks to my friend Daniel for the trade! Bottle date is a bit smudged but looks like either March or May 2014. Clear golden orange with 3 fingers of off-white head. Nice webby lacing. Aromas of toasty notes, wood, coconut, citrus, a bit of alcohol, light oak. Tastes of citrus, oak, coconut, slight vanilla, floral notes, some alcohol. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium-low carbonation. Oak aging adds some nice flavors and works fairly well. More of an oak aged DIPA to me than an English Style IPA as the label says.
