Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a thin khaki head which dissipated inwardly to leave some light concave lace.
Aroma: deep dark and milk chocolatey malts dipping in some caramel tones; light vanilla beans and some roasted coffee beans further underneath
Flavor: roasty, toasty and sweet rolling into each other nicely; mild aftertaste of the flavor blend meshing swell together
Texture: medium bodied, somewhere between sessionable and a sipper; very creamy smooth along my tongue; finishes quaintly smooth and rolling roasty
Overall: nothing will scream to you more than a beer like this to have on a cold Winter's night!

Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is coffee upfront with roasted malt, some liquorice and chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet with a roasty bitterness. Body is medium, on the thin side for the style. Tasty Coffee Stout, so-so for an Imperial.

(Can, 0.473l, from Alus Celle, 20230930) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and slightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and coffee with cream. Palate was medium bodied and soft with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, coffee with cream, cocoa powder, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, coffee and bitterness. Balanced. Pleasant long aftertaste.

Very clean nice dry light body stout. Certainly not imperial. But the roast malts are perfectly balanced to the abv. Coffee-like more than most. Craftbiershop online
