Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is coffee upfront with roasted malt, some liquorice and chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet with a roasty bitterness. Body is medium, on the thin side for the style. Tasty Coffee Stout, so-so for an Imperial.

(Can, 0.473l, from Alus Celle, 20230930) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and slightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and coffee with cream. Palate was medium bodied and soft with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, coffee with cream, cocoa powder, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, coffee and bitterness. Balanced. Pleasant long aftertaste.

Very clean nice dry light body stout. Certainly not imperial. But the roast malts are perfectly balanced to the abv. Coffee-like more than most. Craftbiershop online

355ml bottle. Quasi black colour with weak ruby shimmer and small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, slightly chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, some chocolate, dark caramel, whiffs of cold coffee. Taste is slightly dry, roasty, minimally chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty, hints of malt lozenge, dark caramel, a touch of chocolate, some cold coffee, bitter hoppy counterpart. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Relatively light, simple - decent.
