510ml bottle. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of ripe orange, marmalade, grapefruit, pine. Taste of sweet marmalade, orange, grapefruit, lots of pine, resinous, assertively bitter dry finish. Medium bodied, crisp, clean. This is excellent, think I'd be rating it even higher than Pliny if it was bumped up to that strength!

Small pour. Appearance: clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma: lots of candied citruses, bold, caramel. Taste: along the same lines, piney, quite bitter, malty, a bit sweet. Finishes with a high hoppy bitterness. Overall: good old school IPA.

Wrote a positive review for this on another site a few years back & I felt it needed a revisit. Bottle from Khoury's in Hendo. Stemless wine glass whole cleaning out the hotel fridge for checkout. Clear, light to medium gold, tall fluffy head, sticky lace; appetizing. Sweet citrus & oily pine nose. Pine resin, lingering white grapefruit pith, salty crackers, earthy dryness, slight acid, lovely thin & frothy body. Okay flavor but the texture is 7/5. Great.

Bottle from a liquor store in Imperial Beach, while cooking seafood in our AirBnB. I figured of what's in the fridge this was appropriate for R2K. Amber with very light haze, nice big head. Nose not overwhelming but solidly fruity citrus. Nice flavor of smooth citrusy bitterness, tasty mild-but-complex thing going on. Bright light caramel, melon pomelo notes. Ultra smooth big bitterness! World class tastiness. It's not overwhelming in any major flavor but just about perfect overall!

Definitely a bit more bitter - classic strong West Coast IPA.

Classic West Coast IPA, hitting all the right notes—resin, grapefruit, caramel, and pine, with a lingering bitterness on the finish and citrus pith in the fade. Just a damn fine pint.

Bottle. Translucent gold with a medium white head that has good retention. The aroma is medium in strength with mixed citrus and a bit of soapy cotton candy. The taste is a nice balance of grapefruit and pine with bitterness provided by lemon pith. The palate is a bit on the lighter side with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry with a bit of lingering bitterness. Overall: Decent. I love revisiting an old classic and discovering that it is just as good as it ever was.

Always a classic—brew date Feb 10. Slightly yellow amber pour, off white head. Some malt and caramel bready notes up front. Floral pine notes, piney bitter finish #UkrainianBridge
