Draught @ Alpine Beer Co, Alpine. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt rich bitter hoppy, grass, fruity, citrus, grapefruit, pine. Flavor is rather bitter, malt, rich fruity hops, grassy, citrus, pine, resin, some alcohol. Full body, medium body, rather bitter finish with some warming alcohol. Heavy on everything, and as i remember a IIPA when i first was introduced to them years ago. 240718

Bottle, 650 ml, courtesy of BeerandBlues2, huge thanks! So this one made home safely, after 4000 km of road trip including Death Valley (in June) and 10+ hours of flight. Nice hazy orange color with medium white head. Strong hoppiness, fruity, citrus, some grapefruit, pine, resinous, some caramel sweetness in the middle, lasting bitterness. Alcohol well hidden. Medium+ bodied. I'm surprised how it held well considering amount of time it spent in sometimes extremely hot car. Maybe just a hint of funkiness as a result so good thing we've opened it in time. Very good.

Bottle at RBSG. Light haze, golden body, substantial head. Aroma is equal parts hops and citrus. Nice feel and consistency, hops get more astringent on the palate. Citrus finish with a bit of warmth.

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Clear orange-amber color with a medium thick off-white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.

Thnx to sdcraftbeerguy for bringing this over ! Pours clear blonde , small white head . Smell is hoppy, with some ... Funky ( not at all like Brett ) ... perhaps the wood ? Some honey . Taste is sweet , honey aspect again , bitter , very balanced, some creamy ( wood ? ) aspect . This is very unique , to say the least ! Magnificent how drinkable this is ( 11 ABV ????? damn ! ) and very, very damn nice ! Flavors keep coming, building up and down in intensity . Honey sure must be used ?! the hops themselves are fruity ( stonefruity , so I’d supose Nelson Sauvin or likewise ) , touch of Pine , touch of sweet ( hallertau ??? ) Perhaps some Amarillo ? Just guessing here as my knowledge is far from perfect . I’d say, just drink this one, and see for yourself . But its very , very nice !

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a clear orange with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong grapefruit, citrus, and hemp. Medium mouthfeel with nice pine, citrus, grapefruit with light bitterness, hides alcohol really well, very impressive.

22 oz bottle, thanks to Richiesd! March 2014 batch, enjoyed March 31. Almost clear, amber color. Thick off white head, with good retention and OK lacing. Aroma’s of pine/resin, citrus, disappearing mostly after a while to make way for more caramel and herbal hops. Retronasal there’s caramel, earthy hops, herbal, resin and fruity acidity. Flavor is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Alcohol doesn’t seem like 11% although it warms the throat. Fairly full bodied. Long finish, herbal, moderate to full bitterness. Glad I had the chance to try this.
