Another great offering from the dark side of Stone. A rich mahogany red body with a thin off-white head. Taste profile blends some fresh and powerful elements - earthy and fruity hops, rich, sweet caramel malt, dark berries, brandy and a hint of nuttiness. Rich and sustained taste.

very dark copper/mahogany color.
Aroma is quite malty, and lots of floral hops, and citrus, with a really nie brown sugar/caramel sweetness. Flavour has some really nice caramel maltiness to it. Loads of floral hops, and a really awesome bitterness to finish. The alcohol is there, and gives a nice warming to your throat, but other than that the 10% is hidden VERY well. Wow. best american stone i’ve ever had, hands down!

12fl Oz can, as Double Bastard Ale, from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours brown, with fine light cream foam. Aroma is intensely malty sand caramel, but also herbaceous. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is markedly bitter, with a little bit of a malty sweet beginning. The bitterness continues long into the final.

Amber, clear with a large off white lacing head. Aroma of caramel, wooden barrels, malt and dried fruits. Sweet, some bitterness with a caramel, wooden barrels and fruit finishing. Nice

Can from Westhill Service Station. Clear ruby body with a beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of toffee and fig. Flavour of burnt caramel and mashed strawberry. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. This is sweet and delicious.
