Bottle from Jonas, thanks! Drunk at the Ferienwohnung after ribs, shrimp, and Forst Felsenkeller. Lightly hazy amber, moderate tan head. Great flavor full of yeast and their esters, moderately chewy and complex. Toasted caramel but not too sweet. Lightly citrus-acidic aftertaste, quite well balanced for the strong alcohol. Great mixed-duty Belgian amber!

Bottle, no idea from which year, bb 9.2026. Hazy orange copper, tan cream. Complex sugar nose, dry caramel entry on the palate, fairly fruit salad, base, a bit candy, caramel, nice hop notes riding on too, medium full dry foamy mouthfeel, dry caramelized fruit finish, citric hops retronasal. Enjoyable, easy drinkable.

Bottle, shared after a long day. Deep red warm chestnut. Malt, caramel, herbal, cream. Roasted, nuts, malt, earl grey, herbal, brown sugar, buttery mouthfeel. Light, but long and warm. Not bad.

Hazy dark amber / bright ruby red with porous 1cm head. Caramel, candi sugar., plum, raisin aroma. Sweet, raisin, carbonated palette on first impression. Dark malts, high alcohol. Nice lingering malty finish. Very well balanced. Could drink this all night.

Not bad, not great if I compare with others trappists, malty, sugar, a bit sour, some hop, not an explosion of aromas but it is find. 28.01.2018, at Prélaz, Lausanne.

Bottle at home, courtesy of my fam. Deep copper pour with an off-white head. Nose is candi sugar, esters, light booze. Taste is drark sugar, some caramel, fruity esters and some vague bitterness in the finish. Intense carbonation, light to medium body.
