Keg at the Pony Bar UES - NYC. Pours clear, red-gold with a fine, creamy off-white head. The nose holds pine, candies, bread, ripe orange. Medium to big sweet flavor with sugary bread, bitter lightly toasted pine, earth, grapefruit, orange rind, alcohol, golden raisins. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with some obvious alcohol presence, oily pine, grainy bread, booze-soaked citrus fruits, touches of dry wood. A bit heavy-handed at times.
