Clear golden with almost no head. Aroma is normal noble hops and juicy bitter malt. Taste is slight fruit sweet malt, noble hop bitterness and fresh carbonation. Heavier than water and thirst quenching. A good one for drinking.

Bottle from the lazy dog. Crystal clear deep golden color with a decent sized but quickly receding off white head. Nice deep bready pilsner character with a faint bit of toastiness to it. Restrained floral spicy hop flavor balance but doesn’t overpower. Lightly fruity and honey nose with a hint of sulfur and light caramel which seems a little out of place. Rich medium to full body with a bubbly creamy mouthfeel. Pretty tasty beer, I love a good Marzen

Draught, stable medium creamy head, clear light brown to red color, yeasty caramel aroma, wood cardboard flavor with some caramel and a fruity hint, quite sour. Not too good.

50cl on tap (as Paulaner Oktoberfest Märzen) at Drink Baar, Tallinn. Clear copper coloured with a rather modest, off-white head. Malty and slightly bready aroma with hints of caramel, toasted malt and metal. Medium sweet with mild malty notes and a mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Fairly tasty, except for the metallic notes, but still quite drinkable.
