Deliciously fruity aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, peach, some malt, resin, caramel, orange peel, floral hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a huge and long bitter finish. Wow, this is close to flawless for a DIPA. Perfect balance between huge amounts of fruits and resinous notes, with a potent bitterness to knock your socks off. I’d like to thank the cat who inspired this beer.

Old note. Magnificent aroma (citrus and tropical fruits) and similar taste (only more pine needles were added) with strong hop bitterness and a long aftertaste, very good.

Can from Deconinck. As 'Mongo Double IPA', 8%. Pours hazy orange with a lasting, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of dank orange, mango, biscuit, freshly cut green bell pepper, paprika, grapefruit juice, yeast. Taste has sweetish orange & mango over bitter grapefruti, pine & bell peppers, zesty sour touch, supported by biscuity malts. Dry, resinous & piney hoppy finish, lingering juicy & dank fruit, warming spicy gin-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. No-nonsense DIPA, not too dank, not too juicy, really hop-fueled.
