Belgo Twin är ett rustikt och komplext öl som har ett medeltida arv från trappistmunkarna i Belgien där ölbryggning alltid varit centralt. Detta guldbruna öl är bryggt med belgisk karamellmalt och kandisocker som ger ett smakrikt öl med en fin maltsötma och toner av russin, torkad frukt, kola och nougat.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in December 2017. Hazy amber with a small head. Sweet with malt, yeast, some dark dried fruit and toffee. The body was medium and the finish with some warming notes.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy pale copper colour, small head. Candy sugar, marzipan and hay up front. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Marzipan, bread and brown sugar, some hay. Mid bitter finish. A tad sweeter, and less soft than the best examples of the style, but a solid effort.
