Sour Passion is one of our favorites! We just love passion fruit and this one has a lot of it. Brewed with pilsner malt, wheat and oat, and passion fruit comes in at the end of fermentation. Lactobacillus makes it sour. It´s sour, it´s passion! Skål!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy pale golden, small head. Aroma of lemon juice with plenty of passionfruit. Tart with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Mostly tart passionfruit, sprinkled with citric acid. Probably tasty just as intended, but that is unfortunately just as infantile as the likes of Omnipollo and Brewski is targetting, resulting in beer cocktail I have zero interest in. Well crafted piece of crap.

Draught at Haket, Göteborg, on May 17, 2017.Hazy golden color, white head. Passionfruit, spur scent. Sour, passionfruit taste. Sour, passionfruit aftertaste. Medium and fizzy mouthfeel, no or at least very low bitterness perceived.Not complex, perhaps even simple, but super fresh, nice fruit character, nice sourness. Me like!
