This our first ever folköl (folk beer) – a session India Pale Ale with a relatively low alcohol content (between 3-4%) which makes it great for drinking over an extended period without things getting too out of control! Our own interpretation is a 3.5% beer that is perfect for long days in the sun.

Bottle from Ica Maxi Lindhagen. Pours amber with a short lasting head. Aroma of grapefruit and grape seed. Bitter, carbonated with a lot of caramel malt. A bit thin.

Bottled, from ICA Kvantum Liljeholmen, Stockholm. Hazy deep golden, mid sized coarse head. Generous perfumy nose with lychee and passionfruit. Dry with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Nice citrusy tropical fruit hops, a bit thin. Mid bitter finish.

33 cl bottle on April 19, 2017.Clear golden color, white head with lacing. Malty, toasted, citrus scent. Malty, citrus, thin taste. Soem citrus aftertaste. Weak mouthfeel, low bitterness.

330ml Bottle - Light amber in colour. Grapefruit, pine and some slightly oniony and biscuity notes in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste with biscuity malt, caramel, grapefruit and dried apricot detected.
