This Pale American Belgo style beer was 2010 GABF’s silver medal winner. It has notes of spicy pineapple, mango bubblegum aromas which comes from the unique marriage of a special Bel-gian yeast and an American Simcoe hop. This beer has an initial soft malt sweetness with orange fruitiness and finishes with a hoppy dryness.

Bottle at le mondiale 2011. This was basically an over hopped belgian strong ale. At times it seemed like it was a high octane ipa. Way too much hops, nowhere near enough fruitiness or malts. Its was very one dimensional, and quite boring really. Disapointing.

Perfectly clear deep copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish single centimetre tall off-white head that fades quickly and doesn't leave much upstairs. Aroma of very nice honey and flowers with a strong Belgian Yeast scent with bananas, bubblegum and cloves with a lot of spice here as well - very nice. Medium-bodied; Rich crisp malt bite with a good deal of fresh hops and some flowers along with a dash of spice from the yeast that almost makes this seem like a Tripel, with a good sweetness at the end from golden raisins or honey. Aftertaste shows a lot of bitterness with a good kick of sweetness here, but the malt provides a great layer and backbone for this entirely. Overall, a nice and crisp beer that really shows more of a Tripel or a light Barley Wine than an IPA, but it's good and rich, regardless. I sampled this ten ounce pour on draught at the Kunhenn Brewpub here in Warren, Michigan while back at home on 18-April-2023 for US$7,00.

At Great Taste 2015. On the sweet side but also surprisingly earthy and herbal. It doesn’t match the flavor profile for what i expect from a Belgian strong. Flavor is good, good thick palate.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of floral and citrus. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, earthy yeast. Medium body with a dry finish. Different but interesting.

Draught at CBC 2014. Hazy golden liquid with a medium white head. Aroma of white pepper, blackberries, citrus, tangerine and bread. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of white pepper and citrus. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Decent.

Draft - Light bubblegum and fruity esters. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet, fruity and syrupy. Almost like cough syrup. A it too sweet and sticky for me.
