Brown Ale aged in used Pinot Noir barrels from local Sonoma County wineries. It is aged for about 12 months with sour cherries, brettanomyces, lactobacillus, and pediococcus added to each barrel. Flavors from the cherries, Pinot Noir and oak balance each other nicely with a little funk from the brett.

This is wonderful. Pinot Noir barrels did this beer nice. Get some cherry flavor. Very sour. Delightful.

Bottle pour shared. Thanks T! Pours a reddish orange with a super sour cherry aroma from quite a distance. One of the most sour beers I’ve come across. And I’ve been looking. Sour cherries and berry. Wine like beer, but not a bad thing at all. Loved this beer to say the least.

375 ml bottle at home. Dark copper color with nice off-white head. Aroma is mostly funky and "sour" at the beginning, cherry, bretty, a little bit vinous. When it gets warmer there are malty and wood senses. Taste is like aroma but more intense. Sour and funky at the beginning with tart cherries, later there are sweet malty notes. Great very long dry sour salty woody aftertaste. Medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation.

Bouteille 375ml, gracieuseté de wilco. Thanks Mike!
