Refreshment, thy name is Clementine. One sip of this White Ale transports you to the shade of a mighty tree, lounging in the peace of a crisp spring afternoon. Luscious citrus flavors and Belgian spice abound in Clementine, which features additions of Sweet Orange Peel, Coriander, and Mandarina Hops. The use of a Belgian Ale yeast strain contributes a tinge of peppery flavor to this crisp summer companion.

12 oz can poured, picked up a little while back at Belmont Station. Not a whole lot of witbiers in my rating history, but this one sounded good for tonight. A slight haze to a bright golden pour. Oily active fizz head. Aroma leans towards a belgian ale, with plenty of spices and oranges. Carb is sharp, orange peel is slightly bitter. Spices blend well, and are bold in the finish. Refreshing taste throughout. Rarely am I in the mood for a brew like this one, but when I am, this is awesome.

Can pour into taster cup at Craft Brew Race Portland. Appearance is light brown/dark yellow, no discernible sparkle, small off-white head. Aroma is fruit, yeast. Taste is modestly strong fruit, lighter wheat. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thick, smooth texture, soft carbonation and sweet and a little wheat-y finish. Overall, decent but not earth-shattering and not as complex as you'd think.

Can. A- Coriander, spice, cloves. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Yeasty, coriander, clove, spice, mild sweetness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- Too much spice and not enough clementine. Okay, but not as refreshing or balanced as I wanted it to come across. Slightly off finish.

Tight white head stayed on a hazy, highly carbonated, dark golden body. Peppery yeast & sweet citrus aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate, tingly on the back & a cloying finish. Quite dull hopless tastes of.... Clementine, yeast, bitter pith baking soda & a sugary finish.

12 ounce bottle. Medium gold color topped by a large frothy white head. Tangy, sulphury wheat aroma. Tart, bittersweet citrus malt flavor. Notes of wheat, orange peel, yeast, hay, aspirin and peppery hops. Dry and refreshing.

On draught back when Clown Shoes started.
Dark tangerine-to-light-copper with a moderate haze and a small, white head atop.
Fairly well-attenuated, it seems, from the nose, with not an overdone amount of spicing. Vanilla, tangerine, peach, and lemon, with grainy to honeyish malts behind it. Clean, simple.
Lightly sweet, with soft honey, orange blossom and peach notes mixing with a moderate graininess and grassy-to-herbal notes from the spicing. Substantial texture and ample carbonation; it’s not thin and watery for the style and is well-attenuated. Fine, pleasant, though I haven’t had it in many years.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy golden yellow with very small frothy white head, mango aroma, medium carbonation, initially sweet taste followed by lightly bitter mango taste, thin body, medium finish with mango aftertaste. Tasty and refreshing.
