Refreshment, thy name is Clementine. One sip of this White Ale transports you to the shade of a mighty tree, lounging in the peace of a crisp spring afternoon. Luscious citrus flavors and Belgian spice abound in Clementine, which features additions of Sweet Orange Peel, Coriander, and Mandarina Hops. The use of a Belgian Ale yeast strain contributes a tinge of peppery flavor to this crisp summer companion.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Clear orange golden color, average sized white to off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma reminds me more of a Belgian blond rather than a Belgian white to be honest. A hint of orangepeel, herbs or spices, yeast to some extend. Perhaps a distant hint of brett even, thought I don’t think I’m supposed to taste that. Fizzy carbonation, average to decent body. Not good as a Belgian white, average at best in general.

Bottle @ home clear golden yellow colour with a small to medium sized white head. Smells fresh, fruity, sweet, some herbs, orangepeel. Nice. Tastes fruity, orange, orangepeel, fresh, sweetish, some herbs but not too crazy for an American Belgian white. Medium carbo, medium body, nice.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy dark blond color, medium sized head. Light aroma, bready. Weak mouthfeel, dry; simple flavor, lightly spicy and sour (which is ok), tiny bit of citrus peel; ordinary bitterness.
Nothing bad, but rather boring.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite spicy and hoppy, with bitter orange peel, some spicy coriander, and quite a lot of hops. Flavour is quite spicy and fairly hoppy, with light spiciness, dry hops and some citrus. Very well-balanced, with more unique character than most wits. Very good.

Hazy yellow with lasting bright white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma. The flavour has bittersweet orange. Feels juicy and also spicy with coriander and yeast.
