Cutyard is a hoppy lager in the style of a Vienna lager. The use of Vienna malt gives a slightly stronger malt body which, together with a mixture of American hops, creates a lovely balance between malt flavour, sweetness and bitterness. The name “Cutyard” originates from our somewhat basic but creative translation of the Swedish word for “archipelago” (in Swedish, “skär-gård”). For your information, we take more pride in the contents of the bottle than we do for our translating skills!

Bärnstensfärgad vätska med tunt vitt skum. Doft av rå säd. Smaken domineras av samma tråkiga råa säd. Som avslut framkommer även smaken/doften av päronskal. Inte direkt veckans kioskvältare.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Fruity, bready nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fruity and bready, some grass. Mid bitter finish. Anonymous.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Gamla Stan, Stockholm, 3 May 2017) Pale amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with toast, apricots and orange marmalade. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of apricot marmalade, crisp-bread, toast, citrus and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Aroma: Citrus, fruit, malt, caramel.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.

Draught @Brewdog Helsinki. Poured golden color with a thin white head. Grainy malts, some hay in aroma. Flavor has grains, hay, mild hops. Very easy, clean.

25-08-16 // 200ml on a flight at the brewpup on Fjäderholmarna. Slight hazy amber orange colour with small head. Medium sweet body, some caramel. Light bitter finish. Good easy to drink.

On tap at Bishops Arms Vasagatan. Hazy golden with a small white head. Rather sweet with bread, light fruit and some caramel. Kind of soft and easy to drink with a low bitterness.
