Pours a hazy amber with a huge white head that launches itself at you at warp speed. Aroma of pine, spices, herbs, peppers, old coffee, a bit hoppy. Weird brew... Even though I probably won’t drink this again very soon this is a nice little experiment which I enjoyed. I love being surprised by beers like this one.

Bottle. Amber color. Fresh coffee and cacao in the aroma. Initial fruit in the flavor, citrus and other tropical fruit, followed by fresh grinded coffee. Thin. Earthy bitter aftertaste. Unusual but likeable.

The Beer Store, Southampton PA: So this bottle might be a little past its prime, but my impressions of it did not differ markedly from those of the previous reviewers. In any case, it pours a murky orange with a white head. It really blew up on me and squirted in my eye. Aroma is coffee grounds and peppers. Taste is spicy and full of coffee grounds. This is more an interesting beer than a good one. Similar to a few others I have had like Victory Village.

Bottle: Deep golden, unclear, big rocky and stable off-White head, freshly ground coffee, aromatic hops, caramel and dried fruits in the nose; quite dry bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied and a bit tart; slightly lingering dry hoppy and coffeeish finish with some balancing caramel. Not bad, but surely no session beer...
