Bottled (Vm Kirkenes)
Dark brown color, small brownish head. Toasted, coffeish aroma. Medium-bodied. Coffeish (and also cocoa) but also quite sweetish, caramalty flavor. Not much hoppyness to back up. Toastyness is soft here. Ok.

Keg at The Rover, Göteborg. Near black, mid sized head. Chocolate and coffee up front. Dry with medium body and vital, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee, chocolate, toast. Superbly crafted. Concentrated roasty flavours. Fairly low bitterness. Edgeless, rich, wonderful!

Draught @ The Rover. Pours hazy pretty much black with a creamy beige head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty with roasted malts, dark bread, caramel, crispbread, dark roast coffee, moist soil and hints of burnt raisins. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and malty. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny roasted astringent and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and slightly bitter with roasted malts, dark bread, caramel, dark roast coffee, sweet liquorice candy and moist soil. Lovely porter with solid malts and complex coffee and liquorice character. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Fatserie 005 Porter on 29 Dec 2015 at 18:09 - Score: 8.
