Denna öl som till karaktären är en lageröl utmärker sig med sin bärnstenslyster till färg och sin runda, aromatiska maltiga fyllighet med en lätt humle aromatiskdoft och markerade beska.
Maltmixen är väl avvägd mellan pilsner- och karamellmalt som ger en utsökt fyllighet och kropp i ölet och den utsökta Melanoidinmalten som både ger den vackra färgen och den härliga maltiga aromen.
Den sena humlegivan med exklusiv Tjeckiska aromhumle bildar en angenäm lätt men exklusiv humleblommighet.

Big pale beige head. Clear reddish brown body. Papery earthy cinnamon aroma. Sweet spicy fruity taste with resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, slightly flat mouthfeel. Dryish roasty earthy spicy aftertaste with cocos and cinnamon notes. Very nice, and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, from Systembolaget Torsby.)

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 26 Sep 2015) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with roasted malt, bread and dark fruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of roasted malt, red fruit, orange peel, bread and a mild, spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Industrial and a bit boring, but flawless and quite drinkable. Enjoyable. (5/4/6/4/11=3.0) Rerate: (Can, 2 March 2022) Reddish brown colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, toasty nose with notes of caramel, bread, dried fruit (figs, apricots), milky chocolate and orange. Malty taste with treacle-toffee, caramel, dried fruit, orange, chocolate, toast and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Quite decent for a Spendrups lager. Quite enjoyable.

500ml bottle via djoeye. Pours a dense, two-finger, off-white head reduced to some remaining patches. Spotty lacing. Clear amber body. Moderate aroma of caramel, nuts and prunes. Brown malty taste, slightly roasted and joined by moments of dark dried fruits. Surprisingly easy to drink, almost watered on the swallow. Drinkable (Tromsø 21.08.2015).

Draught@SBWF2014. Looking at my notes on my beer list sheet, this has probably been a bit on the later side of the evening. I did think mr bolagshataren was kidding, but apparently he wasn’t. Well, the beer. The beer pours a quite amber coloured one with a small off-white head. Aroma was grainy, some strange sweetness and mild grassy and floral notes. Flavour is very similar, with mild rye kicking in as well. Rather watery for a 5.8 % brew. By the taste of the brew, bolagshataren didn’t seem to be kidding.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber - not very dunkel at all! Smallish, white head. Sweet caramellish aroma. Rich, malty body - caramel and a little caramel. Subdued bitterness. Straight and easygoing. 301014

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange to brown with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty and grassy. Breadish, bitter and slight herbal. Dry and grassy into the finish.
