Fruity, Flavourful, Sessionable. British and German malts team up with five Yakima Valley American hops to create a vibrant and fruity red ale. As lively and colourful as the people that brew it.

330ml bottle. Clear, reddish brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, red berries. Flavour is malty caramel, red fruit. Nice, but nothing exciting

Clear reddish-amber beer, smells of hop, citrus and apples. Taste is bittersweet. Light fruit, hop, caramel. Slightly watery aftertaste bit this is immensely drinkable.

On tap at Werfpop, Leiden. Turns out to be a tick! Clear deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, mostly grapefruit, some burnt caramel, hint of toast. Flavour is very watery, light malty, toast, some grapefruit but all very light. Light bodied. Liked the M&S version a lot better.

Thanks Riba! Clear amber-red. Malty aroma, light herbal touches. Light fruity perfumey, bit grainy. Too light. Meh. Okay. Soulless.

Bottle from the Republique Monoprix. Pours dark amber with a slight white head. Hop aromas seem mild and fruity. Med body. Unfortunately it does seem to be an amber. More hops than many, but not enough to hide the amber yuckiness. Pretty flavorful for 4%, and the hops are flavorful, but it just won’t work for me. Ambers. Frequently bleh. Get the ABV to 8 or 9, hop it to unbelievable levels, and usually good for me. This is not very tasty. I’d guesstimate half the beers I’ve rated are tastier. I’m trying so hard to really like this. Sigh.

Bottle from Nicolas UK Ltd, Gt. Portland Street, London. Pours copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of moderate hop, bread, malt, caramel, chestnut and prune. Quite heavy in sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation.

Flesje gedeeld met TomHendriksen. Donker amberkleurig bier matig stevig schuim. Aroma is fruitig.
