25/V/13 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 7/III/15 (2013-496)
Clear dark orange to amber beer, huge creamy off-white to yellow head, very stable, adhesive, leaving rings in the glass with each sip. Aroma: very fruity, lots of citrus, grapefruit, some pineapple, lots of passion fruits, bit piny, resinous. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very fruity start, passion fruits, mango, sweet, honey malts, sugary, piny bitterness. Aftertaste: very fruity, alcohol noticeable, sweet and sugary, some strawberry jam, then bitter grapefruit turning into an almost medicinal bitterness. A bit over the top, lover the fruity character but the ending is too bitter. Or maybe it's because this was my first beer after a week of being sick and no drinking.

Hazy amber with a lasting white head, leaving nice lacings. Aroma of citrus, especially orange and grapefruit, a touch of pine, and caramel/toffee maltiness. Sweet fruity flavour with a little heavy malt, and with citrus hops and a heavy bitterness in the finish

Riktigt bra.

Bottle: Poured a hazy deep yellow color ale with a nice white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral hops notes with some citrus and resinous notes also perceptible is quite intense and very enjoyable. Taste is also a good mix between some floral hops notes with fresh green hops notes with citrus and resinous notes clearly identifiable. Malt backbone is pretty solid though does not detract from the hops profile. Very little bitterness with great floral aroma from the dry-hopping. Body is full with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I very much enjoyed this beer and this is 100X better then their IPA.

Pours an amber-orange that is hazy with full off-white head that leaves quickly. Aroma of slight citrus an biscuit. Full mouthfeel covers the palate with a velvety film. Lots of citrus with nice malt background. Very bitter finish. Chewy yeast as well on the finish.

Pour orange/amber with a small head.Nose shows pine, grapefruit, banana and apple, but remains restrained. A fair bit of sweet malt is present underneath.Flavours are centred on the malt rather than the hops, despite the reasonable amount of piny and resinous notes. Ultimately it’s all about the caramel and very sweet, clean malt.Body feels to thick and syrupy.

Picked up this bottle based totally on label and glad I did. Pours orange with nice rich nose of pine and caramel. The palate is slight sticky. Tastes of pine, caramel, grass, malt, figs, and some rye whiskey. Very tasty way to finish my fantasy football draft

Location: 11.2 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/3/12
Aroma: The aroma of this beer is full of citrus (mostly grapefruit) hops and caramel malts
Appearance: Pours a cloudy caramel-orange color with a thick, foamy beige head and fairly heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is mid-heavy sweet and light-medium bitter, with the same components as the nose
Palate: It is medium-plus bodied, has a rather sticky and somewhat creamy feel, and a slightly dry finish
Overall Impression: This was a very solid example of the style. It is rather sweet, maybe a touch too sweet for my preferences for the style, but still rather enjoyable and drinkable. I can't vouch for the freshness of this bottle (though I purchased it this week, I can't say for sure how long it sat on the shelf) but maybe a slightly fresher bottle would have been even better. Still though, I rather enjoyed much of what they did here.
