Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in September 2016. (my first one from this brewery) Black with a large creamy tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and light smoke. Similar taste, also some licorice and hints of dried fruit. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

Svart med høyt tykt beige skum. Lukter kaffe, mørk sjokolade og korn. Middels fylde. Kaffen og sjokoladen er tydelig med i smaken også. En del salt lakris som dominerer avslutningen. Fin sødme i bakgrunnen. Middels lang.

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Coffee, liquorice and hints of berries in the aroma. Smooth, roasted and slightly smoky taste with chocolate, liquorice, coffee and ash detected.

33 cl bottle from order by bottle section at Systembolaget. Sampled on August 5, 2016.BB 01-01-2017.Clear black color with some dark brown to the very bottom of the glass. Plenty of sediment in the bottle. Medium sized brown to light brown head. Some lacing. Malty, sweet, hints of liquorice, roasted scent, some alcohol as well. Malty sweet, toffee, toasted, light roasted taste. Roasted, toasted, sweet aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel though seem to be lacking some CO2. Medium to medium high bitterness. Hints of smoke at a low level, like what you might find in a lightly smoked sausage.

Bottled at Bistro Bar, Gnesta. Black with creamy, beige head. Rich aroma of coffee and rye bread with notes of smoke. Mid sweet with medium-full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, licorice and mild smoke. Mid bitter finish. Very solid stout.
