A full bodied stout made with all malted barley and blueberry. Flavors of chocolate, roast malt and light blueberry make up the palate with lots of fruity blueberry aroma.

On tap at Flying Saucer, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with fresh blueberries, followed by a base of toasted malt. Flavour reveals lots of fresh blueberries, followed by roasted malt and some earthy character. The blueberry surprisingly works well here. Excellent unique beer.

Tap@Bootleggers, Copenhagen - Black pour with beige head. Sweet and light roasted malty with notes of blueberry, chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, surprisingly light to watery body detracts somewhat, dark blueberry chocolate malty close.

Hefty blueberry stout, not overwhelmed by the fruit but strong enough to make its berry roots known. Enormous stout nose, tons of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee, accented by a subtle blueberry undertone. Pours a dark, dark brown with a slight brown head and little lace. Taste comes off as a berry-tinged dry stout, bitter and deeply roasted but with a formidable blueberry backbone. Unsweetened bakers chocolate and dark fruits make up the front, dark cherries and raisins mixing with the blueberry without ever growing cloy. Bitterness seems a bit heavy for the brew, though, and the texture feels spiky and harsh, a bit cheap for such a quality brewery. Not bad, but not my favorite.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige foam that dissipates quickly. Blueberry nose with a touch of cacao nib. Slightly roasty and sweet milk chocolate on the palate, but not overly so. Cacao nib and faint blueberry skins add a little roast and dryness. Really well-balanced. Diggin it.

Bottle from Growlers to Go - Richmond. Pours thick and black with a small dark brown head. Aroma is overwhelmingly blueberry along with some coffee and chocolates underneath. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, blueberry, salt. Hmmm... wasn’t sure what to expect, but this is good without being sickeningly sweet.

Bottle, 355 ml, from Beergium. Shared with JFK10000 and Josip. Pours dark brown with small brown head. Light roastiness, lots of blueberries, some chocolate. Lively carbonation. Light to moderate sweet and bitter. Not so easy to drink. Medium bodied.
