Maredsous Blonde is a delectable blonde ale with sprightly fruitiness, soft malting and a slightly dry, gently-hopped finish. A sparkling nose, complex flavours and a touch of bitterness give this fine ale all of the refreshing quantities of a classic Belgian blonde.

Pours a thick white head. Medium sweet, fruity aroma. Spices, some banana. Bitter aftertaste. Light and easy to drink. A solid Belgian blonde.

Bottiglia.

Rocky white head left a froth on a clear golden coloured body.
Citrus, yeast & bubble gum aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp dry back.
Stone fruit, yeast, tangy hops & citrus tastes with a bitter finish.
Quite unusual for the style but decent.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pours gold with a foam soapy white head which fades. Aroma has a grainy to cereal malt, a touch of banana yeast esters and a pleasant floral hop background. Taste of cereal and light bread malt, sweet floral and spice, hint of banana and pear. Nice level of bitterness in the finish. Mid bodied, semi-drying, slightly over carbonated. Some flaws but overall a very tasty Belgium pale.

That's a pretty bland blonde but it isn't a bad sip. I've had much worse in blonds.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours. Lead amber - blonde wig a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, estery fruits, melon, pear drops, banana split, candy, biscuity malt, cakey vibes and cereal. The taste is crispy, firmly dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, peppery spice, some rawness, grass, hay, green chalky banana, ripe melon, poached pear, apple crumble, bread, biscuit and grain with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. A reasonable, but fairly unremarkable Belgian blonde ale.
