KØLF 080416. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, pine, chocolate. Flavour is bread, roasted malt, hop, caramel, pine, chocolate. Medium to full body. Nice beer.

Bottled. Hazy brown colour with a mediumsized beige creamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is nutty, some caramel malts, mild ripe fruits as well as some wooden notes. Flavour is caramel, quite sweet malty, with nuts, some floral and herbal notes as well as a mild bitter bite to it. Slight toasted notes towards the finish as well.

330 ml bottle. Almost clear, dark brown body with a nice, dense beige head. Lovely aroma of caramel malt, pine and mild chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet caramel malt, toast, chocolate, pine and good bitterness. Fine balanced body, nice smooth aftertaste – all in all a fine balanced brew with a pleasant flavor.

Bottle at home. Has a deep reddish brown with a big beige head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, orange, caramel and some chocolate. Fruity flavor at first with oranges and mango, goes through bitter grapefruit and ends a little roasty. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a balanced bitterness. A fruity brown ale which is more hoppy than brown.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a nutty brown with a slight haze and a tiny, beige head. Lovely aroma, slightly perfumy. Rich, malty body, nutty and caramellish, quite sweet yet with a dry roast finish. Very pleasant Brown. 030316

Draft at Olstugen Tullen Gothenburg. Clear dark brown / ruby red coloured pour with a thin lasting cream coloured head. Aroma is brown sugars, toasted pine, woody, light cinnamon, varnish, resinous Hop. Flavour is composed of unrefined sugars, pine and light cinnamon spices, nutty malts. Palate is semi sweet, chalky, malt, grains, highish carbonation. Hint of smoked malts one the finish is pretty good.

Flaska från SB. Julöl 2015. Krämigt beige skum över mahognyfärgad vätska. Ett öl jag blir lycklig över. Kanske för att det passade så bra till julmaten, men också för att det är ett sånt bra möte med tradition och nytänkt, gamla och nyna världen eller vad de vill. Malten spelar väldigt bra med humlen. Rostade nötter, karamell, kavring, mjukt kaffe möter kryddig lätt besk humle. Kombinationen blir ett kryddigt julbröd med lätt bränd skorpa och lite lakritstoner. Man blir lycklig.
