2020 bottle split at EFP bottleshare at Brewdog Bristol yesterday. Pours black with a tan cap. Aroma: roast malt, vanilla, coffee, liquorice. Taste: moderate sweet, roast bitterness, prominently dry, chocolate, coffee, umami, liquorice, vanilla, bourbon. Medium+ body with fine carbonation

22oz bottle, 2018 vintage, pours an opaque black with some cloudy, tan head. Nose has malt, molasses, some caramel, chocolate, booze. Flavor has more, coffee, malt, licorice, toast, nuts, cocoa nibs. Finishes with some booze, but pretty smooth.

22oz bottle at the DC Spring RB Tasting. Poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was chocolate, roasted malts, some dried fruits? Chocolate, roasted vanilla, some coffee. Smooth. This one was really great.

From a bomber. Pours a clear cola with a tan head. Aromas are cocoa and dark cherries. Flavors are moderately sweet and bitter roast.

Sample at the Black Friday 04 tasting on 11/23/2018. Black pour with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, vanilla and coffee. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky vanilla, bourbon, roast coffee and malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and vanilla coffee aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bottle [from trade no doubt, thanks!] shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized light brown colored head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, coffee, vanilla. Taste malts, vanilla, dark malts, bourbon, sweetish, chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation, oily texture. Lovely beer!

Bottle @ home. Black with a small, creamy light brown head. Smells coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, roasty, earthy, nice. Tastes sweet, roasty, vanilla, bourbon, very nice. Nice balance. Full body, soft carbo.

Bottle at our BSG Grand tasting pours out dark brown almost black topped with a creamy tan head. Noses Chocolat some vanilla nice roast malt Barrel presents and a little booze. Tasted more of the dark chocolate Bourbon Barrel notes an iced coffee kick and a well-rounded end.
