Swami’s IPA was first brewed in 1992 to commemorate one of our favorite local surf breaks nestled below a spiritual enlightenment temple that sits on the cliffs above. This West Coast style IPA features a timeless American hop profile of citrus and pine with a crisp balanced finish. It’s a dream come true to be able to share so many pints over time as we all evolve together. Whatever your form of meditation is, we hope that each and every sip contributes to your own self-realization…Cheers!

Hops: Chinook, CTZ, Cascade, Centennial, Citra, & Simcoe

Very nice old school American IPA. Aromas are fresh Hops and some cracker biscuit malts armpits and some skunk along with a little bit of grass and herbs. Appearance is a huge foamy frothy off white head that sticks around for a while. Flavors are more bitter than sweet good Carbonic Tang a hint of medicine in the Finish. Slightly soft body but extremely good drinking.

16 oz can on 31st Dec 2017, one of many beers drank during a rather long session to bring in the new year. Poured into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass at my daughters in California. Golden/orange body, off-white topping. Tropical fruit leanings in the nose and taste with grapefruit to the fore in both. Good hop bitterness to the brew, easy drinking IPA.

On tap at Belmont. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. A light toasty nose. The flavor is light sweet toast, citrus, husky. OK.

opalescent golden colour, large, dense off-white head; aroma of grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine, herbal and grape seed notes, as well as slight apricot; taste is the same with some honey notes and spicy-peppery aftertaste; great IPA! not too sophisticated but very refreshing

A light orange beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has smooth mangos and papaiyas, some grapefruits and caramel. Taste has caramel malts, pine, less tropical fruitness than in the aroma, bitterness is long and at least medium, quite dry. Medium bodied, smooth. Balanced and enjoyable.
