Smak Maltig smak med inslag av kavring, choklad, kaffe, torkad frukt och lite citrus.
Wermlands Vinter är en mörk ale med kaffe- och chokladtoner samt inslag av citrus. Den är bryggd på korn, vete och rågmalt med amerikansk humle för beska och arom samt engelsk Golding humle i smakgivan. Den passar till lite fetare och mustig mat och bryggs enbart under vinterhalvåret. Observera att ölen är måttligt kolsyresatt, liknande en engelsk ale.
Wermlands Vinter passar när det viner runt knuten och man vill ha en öl med mycket smak! Serveras vid 10–12°C till lamm– eller nötkött eller som sällskapsdryck. På julbordet är den perfekt till Janssons frestelse, revbensspjäll och feta korvar. Den passar också till en klassisk chokladfudge, som dessert efter maten, eller till mögelost.

Bottled@SBWF2015. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, herbal, some toasted and mild caramelly notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild ripe fruits and berries along with toffee. Mild metallic notes towards the finish, which brings it down a bit.

Bottled @ sbwf15. Dark amber, thin off white head. Caramel, hops, toffee, ryeish notes. Flavor has caramel, toasted malts, hops. Nice one. Balanced, warming.

Bottle at SBWF2015. Chestnut brown color, small off-white head. Nutty, caramellly aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramel backed with earthy hops. Nutty. Alright.

Bottled at SB&WF 2015, first weekend.Clear dark reddish brown color, small tan head. Malty, sweet, light roasted scent. Grainy, malty, mineral taste. Light bitter, dry aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Amber with a medium head. Aroma of malt, light fruit, caramel and coffee. Similar taste. The body was medium and the finish medium bitter. An ok one.
