Our goal was to combine the world of cider with the world of crafted beers. Galaxy hops create a distinct character of peach and passion fruit during dry hopping. The result is an unique flavour experience of cider and hops.

From tap at Basement Beer Bar, Aalborg. Aroma is peach, sweetish apples, pear, slightly tartish fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet. Body is medium. Not a bad Cider, surprising notes of peach.

Tap @ Basement Beer Bar, Aalborg. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aromas of sweet green apples, light citrus, sweet berries. Taste is sweet, floral, berries, light sugar, subtle citrussy tart notes in the back.

Tap at Salon piva. Orange golden color with medium white head. Sweet apples, very light citrus hops in aroma. Taste, apples, light acetone, very light hops. Basement Beer Bar 160116. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour is citrus, apple, apricot, pear, yeast, sugar. Plane flavours , but it works.

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. A clear pale golden cider with a thin white head. The aroma is almost pear like, with yellow apples, some white sugar and a faint hoppy touch. It’s medium bodied, a bit sweet, and with a nice carbonation. Yellow apples, pears and white sugar and a piney hoppy touch. Long finish with yellow apples and a little hoppy touch. Nice indeed, but I’d prefer less sweetness and more hops. 160116

330ml bottle, from trade with Werckmeister - many thanks! Pours clear gold with small wispy head. Great label artwork. Aroma is sweet apple laces, slightly artificial, some mushy pulp. Taste is quite crisp, some sweet sparkling apple juice notes blending with some breezy passionfruit. It reminds me of the German sparkling apple juice that I used to pick up at Autobahn rasthofs, but the Galaxy notes kind of smooth things out to a more pleasant, fruitier drinkable character. Still too sweet for another but a plus point for the dry-hopping.

Where: RBESG 15 Grand Tasting.
Appearance: Clear golden colour with a small white head.
Aroma: Apple juice, sugar, some vanilla.
Body: Medium body, low carbonation.
Flavour: Sweet apple juice, yeast, fruit. No hint of alcohol at all.
