500ml Bottle - Dark amber/red in colour. Cinnamon, ginger, cocoa, dried fruit and malt in the aroma. Fruity, malty and moderately spicy taste with a noticeable sweetness and notes of cinnamon, raisins and fruitcake. A decent festive lager with plenty of character.

500ml Bottle - Copper/amber with a haze and a foamy head. Malty, spicy and fruity aroma with notes of cinnamon and ginger detected. Malty, fruity and slightly metallic taste with notes of spice, malt and dried apricot.

Bottled (thanks to omhper or rlgk, can’t rememer whom of these heroes I got this from). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is bananas, chocolate, some toffee and quite big on the spices. Flavour is spices, sweet malts, some rye and mild chocolate. Balanced. More a spiced vienna than a premium lager.

Sweet, a bit acidic, spicy, hints of sour scent in the back. Dry, spicy, malty, oats taste. Mineral aftertaste. Bottle 2012 edition Ekstedts jul kul 2012 2012-12-15 AR: marzipan - stolen, wee yeasty, ripe undefined fruitiness AP: wee hazy copper, frothy wee beige F: wee yeasty, ripe tropical fruits, fizzy, perhaps hint of chocolate. Bottle 2013 edition from SB cons 2013-12-28 Göteborg AR: ripe mango, yeasty, settled farmhouse, lychee, ripe mandarine when poured AP: wee hazy reddish amber, frothy steady of white head - nice wee lacings F: fizzy, citrus, ripe tropical fruits, farmhouse yeasty, medium + bitternees, grape fruit, spicey - more peppery then the cinnamon they claimed the used. And no chocolated dedected either... 2013: 3,2, new average - keep the old 3,3... (3,3+3,2)/2=
