S:t Eriks Orange Imperial Porter har precis som namnet antyder toner av apelsin. Ölen avnjuts med fördel till, eller istället för, dessert då smaken påminner om kanderade apelsinskal doppade i mörk choklad. Ölen är bryggd på pilsnermalt, mörk karamellmalt samt chokladmalt tillsammans med humle av sorten East Kent Golding.

Medium beige head. Deep dark brown body with lots of little particles. Bready orange rind and chocolate aroma with Christmas spice notes. Sweetish roasty chocolatey spicy taste with lavender and nutmeg notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, mealy mouthfeel with slight heat. Sweetish nutmeg, cloves and chocolate aftertaste with orangey roasty earthy notes. Lovely! Full of flavour, very complex, and yet very harmonic. (0.33l bottle, from Systembolaget, Ljungskile.)

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty orange chocolate aroma. Roasted malty orange and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and orange finish.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Pitch black with a thin, lightly tanned head. Roasted aroma with dark fruits, caramel, chocolate, coffee and orange peel. Taste is bitter-roasted. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted. Nice touch with the orange peel.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with an orange hue and a beige head. Sweet, vanillaish roast. Rich, sweet body, dark dried fruits rather than sharp, roasted malts. Hardly any bitterness. A very easygoing and smooth Porter. 310115
