Bottle split at Bruce’s, thanks to Paul, 16/01/14. Dark amber/chestnut brown with a thin beige head. Nose is bready malts, toffee, sweet notes, rye bread. Taste comprises brown bread, light toffee, brown sugars. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying closure. Ok Tmavy, simple stuff.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s. It pours deep red-brown with a small yellow-white head. The nose is toasted brown bread, raisin, caramel and jam. The taste is brown bread, earth, toast, jammy fruits, dried berry and light spice. Medium body and average carbonation. No great depth, but drinkable enough.

Tasting at our ever gracious host - Bruces pad. Lightly hazy amber beer, residual pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Medium malt, touch of dried fruits. Bare whisper of bitterness. Finishes smooth and semi dry. About as standard as a beer can get and still maintain a modicum of decency.

50 cl swing-top bottle ordered by bottle to Systembolaget. At ekstedt’s x-mas beer tasting, on December 14, 2012.BB 2014.Hazy brown color, tan head. Sweet, sugary, malty scent. Malty, apple, sweet taste. A bit thin, low bitterness.Feels like one of the more character less beers I’ve tried from this brewery, not bad, but just a bit plain.
