Bottle at home. Aroma of ripe dark fruits, plum, yeasty notes, some chocolate, hint of liquorice, some alcohol. Flavour is medium sweet with a hint of tartness. Slightly boozy. Body is medium to full. Peculiar "Belgian Stout", a bit strong sweet boozy but fairly enjoyable.

Smell-weak dried plums, weak malt. Foam- thin, malt, roast, dried plums, weak sweetness, bitterness and then fermented fruits. Head is medium-sized, dirty white color with a faint brown tint. Appearance- an interesting brewer bottle cap, I like the label. Black in color. From - tulip Taste - weak dried plums, faint malt, weak herbal earthy tones, weak bitter tones. Alcohol initially not really noticeable, but overall feels all over the place and not ending on some note I like. Nothing special overall.

Ok. 10/9/7/7/8/7

Bottle, 9.0%. Roasted aroma, notes of bread and spicy malts. Dark brown colour, seems hazy. Small frothy light brown head. The flavour is sweet with a distinct spicy hop note. Herbal hop note to be more precise. Different from most other stouts I have had, but interesting and not bad.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and dried fruit, with estery touches. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of caramel malt and touches of yeast and fruit. Estery and fruity aftertaste with malty and roasty touches. Drinkable, but not quite my idea of stout.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy dark brown, stable, foamy, tan head; some lacing. Aroma of date, fig jam, pear syrup, red apple, prune, molasses, biscuit. Taste has sweet prune, date, fig, some candi sugar, thick malty body of toffee & molasses, bit spicy (liquorice), low toasty. Herbal hoppy finish, liquorice again, some clove perhaps, lots of dried dark fruits returning, toffee & sweet coffee, warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Sweet but not in an annoying way. Hard to call this a Stout. Certainly Belgian. I liked it.
