[5/13/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Yellow session. Black. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, cognac, vanilla, wood. Sweet flavor with chocolate, vanilla, wood, a bit of cognac, licorice, some bitterness. Full-bodied. Great.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with loads of cinnamon powder, dough, chocolate cream, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a beautiful sweet chocolate doughnut with Apple filling, cinnamon, nice alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. On tap at Gary Location.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and bread leading to a bitter finish.

Tap@Mikkeller Bar (Viktoriagade), Copenhagen - black pour with tan head. Sweet and roasted malty aroma and taste with prominent chocolate hit, with some nice notes of coconut, caramel, some great vanilla nuances throughout, lovely spices in there as well. Lovely.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dense liqourice and dark hard roasted malt. Coconut, coffee, chocolate and some vanilla. Dense roasted and coconut. Bitter and dark roasted chocolate malt finish.

Bottle shared. Pours near black with a medium but short lived brown head. Aroma of big cinnamon, chocolate, roast, raisins, overripe dark fruit, caramel, nutty notes, hazelnut and coconut. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle thanks to Tom. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is cinnamon, cocoa, and roast. Medium mouth, strong cinnamon, rye, spice, lingering sweetness, good.

Draft. Cinnamon toast, vanilla, and light chocolate malt aroma. Black with small head. Sweet cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Great balance. Unique and very good.
